Fair warning, this book contains NON-CON & DUB-CON so make sure to check the TW before delving into this book. Now that’s out of the way, I can safely say that am impressed with how Rina can write so many interconnected books without it spiralling out of control. Out of all her books, the Legacy of the Gods is the most popular and one of the reasons I actually started my journey of reading through the Rina Kent Universe. Now that I finished reading God of Malice, I now understand why it’s so popular. The story was SO GOOD. Phenomenal writing and you can clearly see the improvement of her writing from the beginning to this book. I was HOOKED. The story plot was great and although some of the “mystery” was a bit predictable, it didn’t take away from how amazing this story was ♥️ The chemistry between Killian & Glyndon was *chef’s kiss* 😮💨👌 Absolutely in love with those two. The tension in the air whenever they within each other’s sight was so thick I can practically see it through the pages. Killian will always be the “dark” person but Glydon balance him out with her personality. They mix and match well together. Love them ♥️ Absolutely love the POV of their parents cause it’s been a while since I’ve read in their POV. The RES men are still hilarious and Remi certainly takes after Ronan with his funny personality. The man is like a mini Ronan and I always find myself laughing whenever he makes an appearance. A little disappointed in Asher as well considering that I read his story and all that before this one. He became what he didn’t want to become cause he was projecting someone else on his own son. Happy they managed to revolved it, but was appalled when I saw him treating his son like that. I know it triggers some bad memory and reminded him of his past but that still was disappointing considering I love his story. Highly recommend. Love it. Looking forward to reading the next book 👀
Primero que todo💁🏻♀️, les comento que este libro corresponde a la segunda generación del universo creado por Rina 😬, así que les sugiero leer Cruel King y Bilogía Lies and Thuths 🤓 que corresponde a la historia de los padres de los protas de este libro🤓 Conocemos a Glyndon King, una chica universitaria que se encuentra pasando por un momento oscuro en su vida😖😭. Es en ese periodo donde conoce a Killian Carson😎, un chico perteneciente a la hermandad más importante de la universidad rival 😱😱 Killian al momento de ver a Glyndon la marca como suya🫣🤭, sin entender muy bien la necesidad de poseerla a cualquier costo😏Glyndon por otro lado odia a Killian😤, pero no puede evitar sentirse atraída por él 🤭😱y por lo que la hace sentir 🥵🥵 De momento este es mi libro favorito de esta nueva serie❤️❤️, y es que Killian siendo un sicopata es ufff 😍😅(creo que necesita ayuda jajajaja😅🤪…)
i saw this series going around and got curious to wanna see what the hype was about. i was skeptical at first but i was yanked in as soon as killian appeared on page. he was written so mesmerizingly, especially his pov chapters. i want more of him honestly- gimme a bonus mini novella of just him p l e a s e. unrelated to him though, glyndon’s pain and self loathing was also well written and made me want to give her a hug a lot of the time. i was also so proud of her when she snapped at landon too. she grew a lot throughout the book. tho i do agree with killian, sometimes her denial of what they had made me wanna shake her. also i loved how much we got to know the other characters even in their short moments. remi is a hoot- tho i heard he wasnt getting a book. shame but oh well. excited to get to know the others more in their books tho.
Que leitura incrível, apesar de ter alguns momentos que eu repensei toda a minha trajetória de leitura e como eu vim parar aqui kskskssk mas no final esse livro é tão detalhado que se passou um filme dele na minha cabeça. Leiam, porém saibam que terão partes que incomodarão um pouco e farão vc refletir seu gosto literário haha
This book had me in a chokehold during the whole read. I thought I had read about every psycho character there was... But I was so wrong! This book has me wondering in I actually need therapy or if I should just succumb to the delulu. Such a good read! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a MMC who is a true psychopath and would be doing Ted Bundy proud. And an FMC who is dealing some pretty heavy trauma and mental health issues. Please read your tigger warnings, this book will have you questioning your sanity. 5/5 stars and 4/5 spice level.
