Bishop

I really enjoyed this book. It's the first I've read from the author. I was not disappointed. Bishop and Abri make a wonderful pair. Neither one used to being comforted and cared for. Both have been cold and focusing on their skill sets because they had no one. I'm glad he stuck by her, even when she kept pushing him away. I'm glad they got Tilly back safely. My only disappointment is the same as Bishop's...Adena is still breathing. I hope she gets hers very soon. This story had a great plot, a plethora of witty characters to choose from, plenty of tension and lots of feels. I truly look forward to more.

I loved both of these broken characters, their very real struggles, their pain, anger, all of it. I enjoyed seeing them break down walls, realize truths, and see what they initially believed to be true, wasn’t necessarily the truth. This was a slow burn for the most part, which I appreciate, I get so tired of the characters going at it in the bathroom (or wherever) five minutes after they met, so this was refreshing. As was the more realistic enemies to lovers trope. There are definite TW, murder, attempted SA, etc. while dark, I surprisingly, didn’t find it overly dark. I got this on Kindle unlimited, but am planning to buy a copy, as this was a really good read to me. Enjoy!

Loved the growth in characters , each chapter was thrilling and so easy to fall for! Everything was executed perfectly and not confusing at all Loved the hot building steamy romance!!!!

First book I've read by Eden Summers and I seriously loved it. Some seriously messed up characters that you end up pulling for. Great story, great situations... Give it a read. Now I gotta go play catch up and read all her other books.

Bishop: Dark Mafia Romance By Eden Summers I love dark mafia romances, Author Eden Summers is one of my go to authors when I’m looking for this kind of read. Her last two Mafia Romances, Seeking Vengeance and Ruthless Redemption were triumphs for her..today Bishop is going live and seriously, although this is a stand alone, I was happy I had read the previous two. I already knew Bishop, who he was and that man! I knew he was special then…in Bishop we find out just how special he is! Summers has a way of drawing you so far into her story that you feel like you are living on the pages, sitting at the tables with her characters and in this case waiting for Bishop to break….from the first page to the last page there is not stop action. You cry for all that Abri has had to endure as a Costa child and you want her to get her just rewards for all that has been done to her. Both Bishop and Abri are hiding realities from each other, they push each other’s buttons, they have so much baggage that is heartbreaking once everything comes to light. You know that saying, just one more chapter…this was one of those books….but it was worth it! The story line was solid, there was going to be a reckoning we just had to wait for it. In the mean time readers are privileged to see Abri and Bishop’s character growth and as you get further into the book you want to seek the same kind of revenge they want. Pick this book up, get comfortable and spend a day with Bishop and Abri….this will be one of the best Dark Mafia Romance books you will read. Author Eden Summers has earned a spot in my top 2023 list of books read.

Eden Summers has once again entertained us with a brilliant story, this time involving Bishop & Abri, who we have met in previous books in the Hunting Her series. We finally find out the driving forces behind Bishop & Abri’s life decisions and what shapes their personalities and ultimately what forges their unlikely, yet formidable relationship. Bishop has been an absolute cracker of a character in previous books and what a brilliant job Eden has done in his own book to bring his persona to life and stamp his dominant personality on this series! Eden Summers has a wonderful ability to endear us to characters that are, at times, in my opinion, unlikeable. Abri, for me, was one of those. However, with the unwinding of her backstory and her ability to go head-to-head with Bishop, her strength, integrity and resolve shone through to make her one of Eden’s finest heroines. There are a few very important moments in this book that tie in all those questions we had from previous books in the series and gives us readers those moments of A-hhaaaaa!!!!! Yes!!! However, interestingly enough, this book can be read as a standalone and still get the same enjoyment from its pages. Abri & Bishop’s relationship is scorching! Their private moments are a divine showcase of lust, desire, passion and ultimately...Love! The secluded time that they are afforded leads to a most unorthodox carnal courtship that puts their relationship on another dimension. Their repartee, you could compare to a fencing match. Their many verbal parryings, thrusts and ripostes are some of the most humorous & entertaining banter you will encounter in any novel let alone a ‘dark’ themed novel. Bishop is a huge figure in this story. He had a lot to live up to and by gosh he has definitely done this. An amazing, beguiling and captivating story that will surely entertain. 5 Stars

Bishop does not disappoint! In typical Eden fashion this book is full of action, keeps you reading and takes you on an emotional roller coaster, once again I wasn't able to put the book down. Whilst both main characters have appeared briefly in previous books from the Hunting Her series, the novel works well as a standalone. Eden does an amazing job at changing your opinion about Abri by going into her history so you understand why she has behaved the way she has. She definitely is the star of the book for me.

I've been reading KU for a few years now and this author is new to me BUT I LOVED this book so much I BOUGHT it! That's how good it is, I will be reading it again and again, considering I almost didn't finish reading it past 20% as I was having trouble liking or finding anything redeemable in Abri, so I stopped and checked the reviews and the reviewers LOVED these two and the story, I thought "Okay, I'll give it a few more chapters" and I'm soooooo happy I did as Bishop and Abri's story is excellent. It has a lot of depth and substance, I did, however, find out that some of the characters in this book have already got their own books and not that you need to have read the other books first but I would recommend it as those couples are together. I'm going to start with Hunter and I'm looking forward to it!
