She’s done it again! The way you write these books, and the characters you share with us, are so addicting! The spice level in this book is off the charts hot. I think this is the darkest book I read to date of yours, and I am here for it! Nova is the FMC and a complete baddie. Her intelligence, business sense, and strength are everything! You take the journey of who she is ment to be with her. Boy does this girl go through it. She is definitely one of my favorite FMC you have written so far. Vice is that top dog alpha psycho, touch and die, burn the world down for her, MMC. I love him so much. You know when someone asks you what is your favorite MMC troupe. Well Vice is all of them in one! Definitely a favorite MMC for me going forward. He’s so unpredictable, and will end anyone who looks at Nova wrong. His moral compass is on point too. He won’t allow harm to woman and children, but all bets are off when it comes to what’s his. He will follow her anywhere, even death, and that’s just a swoon moment for us readers. I am looking forward to seeing where this world takes us. Vice has so many men in his inner circle it has me smelling a series in the making. I need to see these guys find the woman that will make them beg. Amazing read!!!
I belong to a group on Facebook and this title was recommended under a post. Man am I glad I followed my gut and went in blind. I loved this book. Vice and Nova were insane in the best possible ways. Sure I got mad at him a couple times n reminded myself what I was reading. I can not put in to words how this book made me feel. I flew thru the pages and could not read fast enough. My heart dropped near the end but came back, as i forced myself to read faster. If you do not like dark books with horrible MMC who are psychotic and obsessed with the MFC. Do not read this. If you have triggers, you will not like this book. Go in and take it at face value. It's an amazing story. . I hope some of the side characters get books. I loved miles and Connor oh and Isaac. I'd love to read about them !! Even a book about s or j would be amazing. Gah I can't say enough I loved this book. I may have to purchase it so I can read it whenever I want as much as I want
OK, so Candice really outdid herself here. This is in the top five of dark mafia romances I have EVER read and I am a ridiculously prolific reader! I'm not going to say much about the plot it's best to go in blind but Candice really did a mafia romance trope that typically is so overdone it's hard for anyone to come up with an original storyline. Kudos to her because she absolutely did it! Let me just say I want to live in her imagination it would be one heck of a fun place to be. That being said if you have any triggers you might want to pass on this one. However, if your like me and think there is no such thing as to many red flags then this one is for you!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Candice always writes such strong female characters and Nova was no different. The lies, betrayal, humiliation and secrets thrown at Nova, devastating and yet she gets through them all with an unmatched determination and her head held high. The gun didn’t hurt either. Choosing Vice, the lesser of two evils and her match. I love the way she meets him head on and doesn’t back down. Their chemistry is sexy and his NEED to be near her, have her, possess her… all the things I love to read. I have never read a book by Candice I didn’t like! She has already conquered the MC world, and the Mafia world will have no choice but to surrender to her too.
I LOVED this book. Nova is a bad@$$ bodyguard to a spoiled psychotic mafia princess when she learns a deep family secret. She turns to Vice an underboss of another family but when he initially turns her down, she takes matters into her own hands. Nova gets what she needs and Vice gets what he wants. Vice is captivated by Nova and what initially was convenient becomes love. This book has a lot of spice and tension. It has violence galore like any mafia romance but also darker themes of SA and trafficking of women and children.
This book was amazing. I loved how obsessed Vice was and how Nova handled him. There were definitely moments where I wanted Nova to use her knife on him as much as she wanted to. They were perfect for each other! The ending definitely didn't go as I had expected it to, but I think it was the way it needed to go and I'm more than happy with it. I would love to see more from this world, but I feel that way with all the different and interconnecting worlds Candice Wright has given us. I can't wait to read what she comes out with next!
I love this author, and her doing a Mafia romance is chef's 💋😘. The plot is unique, you see several characters differently throughout, the story has plenty of twists and is just the right amount of spice. I loved both main character, Vice is the tatted anti-hero and Nova is a ballsy and determined heroine. The ending kind of threw me (don't worry, a great hea) and this is a definite 5 stars but it just...well threw me. Fantastic read for fans of this author and genre alike.
My only regret with this book is that I didn't read it sooner!! I had never read this amazing author before and was recommended this book since I love my anti-hero's morally grey/black and unrepentant. If you love Sam Mariano & Adelaide Forrest, I think this will be right up your alley! Nova is a very strong woman, kicks quite some ass and knows how to take care of herself. Her relationship with Vice is so spicey you will need a fire hydrant and a cow on standby. Vice is exactly what the blurb indicates. And I loved him more and more the further I went in the book. I really, really hope this book will not be the last in this universe because readers need more of this! All his closest men need their books too! Hehe. This is quite a Dark mafia romance and you should read the trigger warnings if you feel you need to know such things. I highly recommend you go in blind on this book, so my review is just gonna tell you to buckle up. You are in for a hell of a ride!! =D
This author is new to me and this is the first book that I have read of hers and it’s brilliant and hot 🔥 at the same time. Great story
Those are the only words you need to describe this book and make you want to dive into it. Forget about red flags, the man is all black after 10 years in prison. He’s the psycho you didn’t know you needed in your life. Unhinged (and not just a little), possessive, remorseless (if that’s not a word I’m making it one), Vice is the whole package of wrongness and the newest addition to my book boyfriends. And Nova ? She’s the Queen Vice didn’t know he needed in his life. Strong, passionate, protective and crazy enough to match and stand up to Vice, she knows when to bend and when to stay firm. She may not start the fight (well ok actually she totally would) but she will definitely put an end to it. With vibes from both Sugar and Coerce, Vices and Vows was exactly what I needed with amazing characters, enough action and steam to please and twists that left me reeling. Go ahead, pick it up and give it a chance you won’t regret it. Welcome to the Family !
