Sick Boys (Dark Bully RH Romance) (Spine Ridge University)
I didn’t believe them when they said they would corrupt me. I was wrong. So wrong. The night my sister died, a piece of me died with her, so I made a vow. I'm going to enroll at Spine Ridge University just like her, find the person responsible … and make them pay. Until I meet three sick boys of the Skull & Serpent Society: Felix, Dylan, Alistair. Rude, heartless, vicious guys who are obsessed with making me regret I ever stepped foot on campus. They make me a deal: My body in exchange for a glimpse at their violence. Refusing them is impossible, denying them is insane. They're rough, greedy, and every second with them is filled with depravity. Their venom is jabbed straight into my heart and I’m sucked into their world. All for the sake of revenge. Until it becomes something more. Something priceless. Something all four of us would kill for. Sick Boys is a thrilling new Dark Bully RH Romance standalone by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Clarissa Wild. Why You'll Love This
When you transfer to your sisters university to find out who drove her to her demise and make a deal with the 3 boys she warned you to stay away from. Let me first say holy hotness I loved this book! It turned into so much more than I was expecting. When I feel uncomfortable but so intrigued at the same time, I don’t think I can get enough of that feeling. From the start this book had me guessing. With missing pieces, things that just didn’t add up and how quickly each situation escalated ughhh just give me more! Now this book isn’t for everyone with these darkly depraved boys but between them, the plot and as every little piece started clicking together! Then to top it off with a take no crap purple haired heroine. ( All I gotta say to her is idk if I love my sisters enough to go through all that🤣)There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t love about this book! If you can handle the TW then please give this book a try. It was such a wild ride I wish I could take again!🖤
Definitely enjoyed this book! Some parts I couldn't believe what I was reading very spicy at times because let's face it this book had a little bit of everything. It had all kinds of kinky fuckery going on, obsession, violence, hate, love, loyalty and many unbreakable bonds between different characters. I can't even pick which guy was my favorite because they were all so different but balanced each other out. Penelope was one crazy broad and when she went off her rocker I enjoyed it. The ending was great had me on edge, laughing and relieved. If your not sensitive to degradation, kinks and violence I definitely recommend this book.
So it’s no secret I love a good DARK RH book, and the filthier the better. So I don’t say this lightly when I say this is for sure #1 on the list of books I’ve read this year. Everything from the characters to the thickening plot, my heart raced as everything played out all of it coming together but still leaving me absolutely bewildered. Pen’s mere existence and how well Clarissa was able to portray her just to have that mask ripped off to reveal an even more bad ass version of herself was EVERYTHING! Ali and Dylan’s possessiveness towards each other and then extended to Pen left even me hot and bothered. 😅 Felix captured my heart from the very first introduction, and he made my Degradation/Praise kinks even more needed, though I didn’t know that was even possible. From the suspense down to the very littlest of details this book is HOT, HEARTFELT, ANGERING, and most of all A MUST READ!!
This book has all the spice with an amazing storyline. Filled with revenge, love, and sick, twisted fantasies you never thought you'd enjoy reading. I loved being a 5th wheel in this love square and watching love grow in the most unexpected ways.
Such a page turner, it had me me hooked from the get go. Exciting and oh so spicy, it'll keep you guessing all the way through. Lots of twists and great character development, I absolutely loved it.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I stumbled upon Sick Boys in one of the Facebook groups I follow, and let me tell you, why didn't I dive into this gripping tale sooner? Clarissa Wild takes readers on a tumultuous journey in the first installment of the Spine Ridge University series, and it's a rollercoaster of emotions that left me on edge, breathless, and downright astonished. This book is not for the faint of heart. It's dark, intense, and laden with triggers that demand to be acknowledged before delving into the story. The narrative explores the aftermath of a personal tragedy, introducing us to a protagonist hell-bent on seeking justice and retribution. The promise made to a departed sister leads to an enrollment at Spine Ridge University, setting the stage for a hauntingly captivating experience. The three sick boys of the Skull & Serpent Society—Felix, Dylan, Alistair—emerge as ruthless, heartless, and utterly captivating characters. The deal they propose is a descent into darkness that you won't see coming. The narrative is harsh, wild, and unapologetically violent, yet amidst the chaos, there's an undeniable undercurrent of love and possession that adds layers to the characters and the overall plot. The author masterfully weaves a web of depravity that sucks you in, refusing to let go until the final page. I found myself ugly crying, my heart breaking and healing in unpredictable rhythms. The emotional intensity is palpable, making Sick Boys an unforgettable experience. The synopsis only scratches the surface of the intricate plot that unfolds within these pages. Revenge is the driving force, but as the story progresses, it morphs into something much more profound, something priceless and shared among all four characters. The dynamics between them are electrifying, and the chemistry is off the charts. Clarissa Wild has crafted a dark and intense masterpiece that lives up to the hype. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment in the Spine Ridge University series, curious to see where this talented author takes us next. If you're ready for a wild, heart-wrenching ride, Sick Boys is a must-read.
This book! I stumbled across it last year, and absolutely loved the plot. The characters, the story, the spice, that lil plot twist at the end 😏. I cannot recommend this book enough. It’s my favorite go to read. 5 stars, and if I could I would give it more.
Si te gusta el género dark romance tienes que leer este libro! Hacía mucho tiempo que no me enganchaba tanto un libro como para no poder dejar de leerlo!.
Wow, I don't even know where to begin, I was weary about the book, given the trigger warning, which I will post at the bottom of my review - PLEASE MAKE SURE you read those warnings and make sure your okay with it before reading this book but I have no regrets reading this - you will find these trigger warnings on the author's website too. This is a reverse harem,1 woman and 3 guys. This all takes place at Spine Ridge University, a rather dark, mysterious and quite the mayhem university. As per the blurb, Penelope enrols at the university to try and find out who killed her sister and to make them pay and in her quest to find out why her sister died, she comes across Felix, Dylan and Alistair and they come to a deal and as time goes on, and Penelope digs in to find more out about her sister Eve, she finds herself a target. There are quite a few plots and twists throughout the story, even I can admit there were a few I didn't even see coming. It is also told in all 4 POV's which I loved and it does come with a HEA at the end. This is book 1 so you can read this as a standalone, but book 2 - Evil Boys is based on Kai, Nathan, and Milo, and 2 of those names will be familiar as they are in book 1. I don't want to share too much as I don't want to give away any of the story but I would recommend it if you are into dark, spicy, violent and mysterious stories. Trigger warnings from the author's website: SICK BOYS CONTENT WARNING Suicide and suicide pacts Mention of CSA by family member (not shown on screen) Dub-con Knife play Degradation Public sex & voyeurism Cum eating & snowballing Double penetration DVP Spitting Frotting Sword crossing Mask fetish Fire Play Blood Play Anal play & plugs Permanent Scarring / mutilation Immolation Extreme Violence & torture Murder Dead animals (not killed on screen) This is NOT a "Safe" Romance.
