Savage Little Games: A Dark Mafia, Enemies to Lovers Romance (Sin City Mafia)
In an ironic twist of fate, I’ve found myself entangled in Dante Salvato's world. The ruthless mafia king is no stranger to violence; but when he lays his eyes on my bruised and battered face, he’s furious. I thought my makeup was thick enough to cover the beating I suffered until my inappropriately flirtatious boss noticed. As a cocktail waitress in his casino, I’ve always been on Mr. Salvato’s radar, but now he’s obsessed, demanding to know who hurt me and why, intent on making them suffer. When Dante discovers that my boyfriend Mitch not only owes money to another vicious Vegas mobster but is also cheating on me, he offers him one hell of a deal – Dante will pay off Mitch’s debt in exchange for the one thing he wants more than anything – me. Dante’s offer requires me to spend the next seventy-six days and nights with him, one for every thousand dollars of Mitch’s debt. When I refuse, Dante promises to kill Mitch right then and there for being the one ultimately responsible for my bruises. Desperate to avoid bloodshed even after I’ve seen the evidence of Mitch’s betrayal, I reluctantly accept Dante’s deal with one stipulation. I warn the arrogant bastard that I will never, under any circumstance, sleep with him. Now I just have to resist the mob boss for seventy-six days and nights while he uses every weapon in his arsenal to try and change my mind.

Why You'll Love This
Seriously I am just gobsmacked because this book SAVAGE LITTLE GAMES from Author Lane Hart is just superb. I doubt I can write a review to do a justice to the beauty of it. Can I just say that every dark romance fan has to read this book and leave it at that??? I don’t want to be rehashing the blurb, just that when Italian Mob Boss Dante Salvato has lusted after Vanessa for a long time, and when he sees Vanessa has suffered a beating and betrayal, he handles it – to his advantage of course. For 75 days, she is his by agreement and all she has to do is not fall in love with him. What’s that 365 movie we’ve seen this premise in before??? Well, Ms Lane does it 100000000% so much better!!! OMG I LOVED Vanessa and her completely rebellious independent nature that wound Dante up so bad that I thought he’d explode in frustration. She was no flake in spite of admitting to the intense desire her body felt for him and I thought she was a legend! My favourite quote from him is not sexy or deep in any way, he’s just ...SO FRUSTRATED 🤣 “What the [F] was I thinking? Her mouth…she pushes every one of my g0dd@mn buttons!” Rubbing my temple, I tell him, “No 🐈 is worth the headache she gives me. I don’t even know if I will last seventy-five more days with her!” I laughed so hard at this!!! Dante was everything that a deadly man should be. He used people to benefit his reputation and put those who betrayed him underground in the most painful and torturous way, unless he could use them to benefit his reputation, and even a man such as this character, I found an admiration for. Dante Salvatore was also a man who believed himself to be a bad omen for any woman he remotely cared about to be around. Thus, he stayed isolated and aloof, even from the three daughters he kept under protection, extreme to the max, in their gilded cages. They weren’t controlled just for the sake of it, but rather the circumstances around them were. He controlled the likelihood of danger out of necessity, but bars of protection still make it a prison and they rebelled. Vanessa was such a strong woman who relinquished no quarter when it came to defending and protecting herself and her son, even to the point of breaking her own heart. And that is exactly what I loved about Dante. He was such an alpha-hole, yet was a total helicopter parent. We saw that he loved his daughters and his biggest fears were that they could be taken from him just as their three mothers were. He couldn’t figure out Vanessa’s motivations, why she would sleep with a loaded gun under the mattress, nor the other perfect and minute details that made up her life. Too perfect he thought yet she kept herself and her deets under wraps. Then, just as I had my suspicions, Ms Lane blows even that out of the water! SAVAGE LITTLE GAMES was no little read and it was chocka full of plot twists, surprise moments, chemistry and heat, suspense and so much more. Tropes include Single parents, Father of girls, Mafia, Serendipity, and Forced proximity. I’m sure I’ve missed some and it’s too easy to say that I hella loved it! Again I’ll just say that every dark romance reading fan has to read it!!! Seriously great reading at 5+ Stars and it’s going to be one of my faves for 2024. Hell’s teeth, I can’t wait for the next one due in April this year!!! 💞•❥•♟

I devoured this book in one sitting and am already counting down the days until the next installment in the Sin City Mafia Series. If you're craving a read that's equal parts thrilling and titillating, look no further than "Savage Little Games."
I love reading mafia books, they are definitely my go to trope of books so was no surprise I loved this book as much as I did. The mafia men are always so damanding , possessive and ruthless when it comes to there woman and Dante was no exception. That man was just perfection. Yeah it was a slow burn in the bedroom department but all the sexual tension and foreplay leading up to that was worth it in the end. Can't wait to read more of this series and this author
Lane is a new author for me and had me captivated from the first page! I want a Dante now. You need to add it to must read list!!!!
