Gio and Ellie were meant for each other from day one. they have so many hills to climb and they do it together and don't give up and not even it gets extremely tough. I felt bad for brother Santo,and what he went thru,I just hope buy the time I read all of these story's it will explain the why and who.Gio's love was so great for Ellie and he wasn't going to let anything or anyone get in the way of her happiness! This story is dark and sexy and hot and very steamy mafia story and for the next story.This story was worth more than five stars,no women should had to go thru what happen to Ellie and her brother in laws girl! Please read this story but don't bash you tablet!
This is really such a great book! I love that he was head over heels for her and screw what anyone else says! i love it!! READ THE TW!!! Honestly it’s a great book. It’s dark just like the title says but it’s yummy and i CANT wait for the rest. My heart hurts for Santo but i can’t wait to see him find love again❤️
This was a fantastic introduction to the new series. I loved how Gio didn't fight his growing feelings for El, despite his fear for her safety. My only complaint is (SPOILER ALERT - SPOILER ALERT)... ... that El's attacker was dispatched so quickly. I felt that she deserved her revenge.
Another wonderful book by Kylie Kent. Couldn’t stop reading it. The MCs and the storyline was just as gripping from the first page to the last. Couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. Can’t wait for the rest of the De Bellis Crime Family to have their turns..A definite read for any mob romance reader or any fan of Kylie Kent’s past books.

This is a true love story even with the mafia family situations. Gio is just a sweet romantic guy who happens to be a Don of mafia family. Els sense of humour and honesty along with her 3 friends makes their love story swoon worthy. HEA great. This is a must read.
Wow errrrmmm I don't think there are enough fans, laughs, hearts, lumps in the throat or swear words, that captured my GIF game to my book people while I read this book... I mean the spice is flaming, the story kept me on the edge of my seat and the love had me melting. I deliberately read this book slower than any other to devour every word, every moment and every emotion. Yet I know it's still gonna have so much more to give during a re read. The characters are anything but stereotypical, there is strength, love, vulnerability, protectiveness, possessiveness, laughs, fear, anguish and loves from both sides and ain't that different in its own right!! Ellie is truly independent, beautiful, whitty and possibly the strongest girl I have ever met and then some. Gio is alpha, adorable, gorgeous, protective with vulnerability which makes him all the more attractive in my opinion The girl gang and girl code is so strong, true, admirable and great balance... I adore these girls... The brothers are so close, protective, strong and hilarious. Each one has their own individuality which you cannot help but love however, their closeness and what they would do for each other knows no bounds. I cannot wait to find out what their stories are. This book just derailed my brain... There were moments in this book that had my chin on the floor, moments where I was blushing crimson (and I don't blush), moments my heart swelled / broke / cried and moments when common sense was ignored. Please keep writing this world expanding it and throwing me for a loop...
Instant love from Gio, chased after Eloise as soon as he met her they both had chemistry but Eloise tried to hide and was evasive with Gio but that didn't bother him the Mafia Don got his girl, so much happening in the background relating to the Mafia side loved all the brothers sad about Santo hope he gets a book with a hea he deserves it ..... definitely recommend 👌 👍
OK MY GIRL KYLIE DOES NOT MISS! This was my easiest 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was low key worried because my heart belongs to another mafia family, the Valentinos, specifically Theo Valentino Sr but Gio was everything a girl needed. The story was fun, gripping and refreshing! I’d definitely recommend reading the prequel to get more of an idea of what Gio was like before he met his Ellie! I’ve also gotta give it to the FMC because she was fierce, funny and so likeable! She had a mouth on her and wasn’t afraid to stand up to her man.. the amount of times she told him to eff off was incredible, so relatable hahaha. The spice was gorg and I’m not over the first initial meeting because yeah. I’d let Giovanni introduce himself to me exactly like that 🫦 the De Bellis Brothers are beautiful and I cannot wait to hear their stories. Especially Gabe! Thank god he’s next. Another win for my favourite lady Kylie!
