This book is a page-turner! I love dark stories, and this is definitely dark, yet intriguing and addictive! I want it to have a happy ending, yet the way the first book has ended, I'm not sure it's possible, which is why I'm buying and starting the second book right NOW, immediately after finishing the first!! If you like dark stories that have you deeply invested in the story and characters, these books are for you! ❤️
I’m sometimes skeptical when I see a book being heavily marketed on BookTok but I had to know if the hype was real and IT IS. This story is full of shock, spice and secrets. I’m soooo excited to finish Hayden and Callie’s story. The pearl necklace 🤭 Are Callie and the mother connected? Is her father really innocent? Ohhh, sooooo many questions.
Omgoshh! First, I want to say I love Harper she’s the best friend a girl can ask for. Protective, loving, funny, chaotic. Hayden, I do love how he progresses in the story. The love he feels for Calista is very real and the need to make her know how much he loves her is good. Calista, I love how she is strong and independent and sassy but cowers due to her trauma. I want to see how she progresses!
I love the whole story and how it went through. I wont spoil it but there is one pretty good part that really got me😆😏. I highly recommend getting the second on after reading this and of course it depends on the genre preferences and if ur looking to try reading something like this then u found the right book to start with. ITS WORTH IT! 🫣😍
I’m not even sure how I come across this book but I’m glad I did because I really enjoyed this one. I loved how possessive Hayden was from the very start, loved how he took no crap when it came to Calista. I was very nervous how it was going to play out with all the many secrets he is keeping from her. I loved how sneaky Hayden was. Not much spice but when it hit it was good 🤭 Harper did annoy me quite a bit in this one, I just felt like her ‘humour’ was really forced and it made me roll my eyes more than made me laugh. I did like how she had Calistas back constantly. This book has it all for a dark romance - serial unaliver is a lawyer - stalking - possessive MMC Definitely give this duet a read 🔥

This book has a great story line, an it got me intrigued. I Still have Questions that need answers. Off to read book 2.
